"Group of friends came here to have a masterclass for a friend's birthday! A lovely guy called Luke welcomed us with some nice drinks & we got stuck into it straight away. Luke was really friendly making sure our friend had a great time as well as the rest of us, he also catered to our non-alcoholic friend which was very sweet. We had a good selection of drinks between us & were all given drinks suited to our tastes, so were pretty tipsy by the time we left! kudos & Island bar! Cocktail Masterclasses at Island Bar
We are proud to offer our Shaken and Stirred cocktail masterclasses!
These fun-filled sessions will teach you the fine art of cocktail making with some of the best bartenders in Birmingham. Why not try one for an alternative team-building event, hen party or just to learn more about the art of mixology!
Cocktail Masterclasses last roughly two hours (can be longer for larger groups) and will guide your group through a range of drinks. Also providing an insight into the history of how the cocktails came about – and of course how they taste.
And then it’s your turn – make some classic cocktails under the guidance of our expert staff, picking up new skills along the way. We can arrange for a competitive element to be added to the masterclass as teams can compete against each other, inventing their own cocktail.
