September beer promotion
Every month we're showcasing a delicious beer at a special price. This month we're offering the delicious refreshing Cusquena for just £2.50. This famous Peruvian larger-style beer comes all the way from Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas. Made using pure glacial Andean water source from 18,000 ft, Cusquena is clean and golden in colour, with a refreshingly crisp taste and hints of a citrus.
Our fifth Birthday
Island turns five this year and to celebrate we'll be having an internal revamp in September. We've already relaunched our cocktail menu and a new night opening the Tiki bar every Friday starts in August, but we'd really like to hear from you on what you like and don't like about the place so we can make the changes you want to see. Do you have a passion for bartending?
The Bitters 'n' Twisted family, which includes Island Bar, has a number of supervisor / head bartender roles open. We're looking for passionate, cocktail experienced bartenders with incredible customer service and some leadership experience to join us. We have DJs and live acoustic music on many nights of the week (see Calendar of Events for further details) playing a wide variety of excellent guitar music. There are special drink creations and offers on most nights of the week (with original one-off cocktails prepared daily).
If you would like to host your party in a unique venue, then Island offers free room hire (subject to a minimum spend), where you can celebrate your special occasion. The self-contained area has it’s own entrance, bar, toilets and can accommodate up to 80 guests in comfort. We have the facilities for live music, DJ’s and we can provide catering for your event or allow you to bring your own food. See First Floor Tiki Bar more details.
